| Dan Ruppenthal is the Offensive player of the week as noted by Rochelle Hubs Football.com. This is the Third straight week Rupp has made player of the week. As we have seen ever since week one, it takes multiple players to bring Rupp down, and you don't ever want to be the first one to meet him because it's gonna hurt. |
| Cody Cassidy is this weeks Defensive Player of the Week as named by Rochelle Hubs Football.com. This talented Junior defensive back gave the high flying Knights trouble all night long, He defended the spread sets that Kaneland brought all night long like he had been playing agaisnt them his whole life. Expect more of the same against the Bulldog's this week. |
| This weeks honors go to Lucas Winebaugh. Special teams play was lead by this Junior coverman. His speed and determanation, made him unstopable, he was like a missle as he kept Kanelands strong retun game from ever getting off the launching pad. |
| This weeks O-Lineman of the week goes to Scott Stolte. The 6-4, 265 pound Senior tackle, continued to opened holes against a very stingy Knight defense. Scott is a FORCE to be reckoned with, and personally I feel sorry for whoever lines up accross from him!!! |
| The Rochelle Hubs Football.com Defensive lineman of the week is DJ Mollett. This is the second week in a row That this Senior D-Lineman has been selected for these honor's. Kaneland's unpredictable offense made it very difficult to defend, but DJ rose to the occasion many times, to take away what would have been a big play for the Knights. Dj will be bringing his "A" game this week against Batvaia, so look out Bulldogs, there's a new Dawg to deal with in the trenches this week!! |
